While it seems the Big 12 has been saved once again, we wouldn’t bet on the league lasting too much longer.
It seems Mizzou has options. And it has to realize there is NO replacing Nebraska, Colorado, and A&M.
And certainly not with TCU, Louisville, BYU, or with whatever scrub school you pick. Texas could turn the LHN into the Big 12 network tomorrow and it wouldn’t matter. The fact that they won’t is just further insult to injury.
The Big 12 is no longer a major conference. There’s two big dogs at the top and nobody else. TV networks will know this. Recruits will know this. And the rest of country will know this. But the two big dogs will have their own networks to counter this. The rest won’t. Everyone else will exist to get steamrolled by OK and TX on their way to a BCS game.
If Mizzou has an offer from the SEC and they don’t take it, Tiger fans should be rioting in the streets.
