LSU Tigers vs. Washington Huskies

LSU over Washington is our 'Game of the Week'. It's hard to imagine how last years winless Washington Huskies will be able to stay within three touchdowns of the darkhorse national champion contender LSU Tigers. Jake Locker hasn't played a meaningful game of football in a year. The defensive secondary is woeful. And key players have missed time with injuries during the off-season. The brand new head coach is short on game-day experience. He has never been a head coach on any level. Opening up against LSU is not the way you want to start rebuilding your program.

Les Miles, on the other hand, brings in a overwhelmingly talented team. After winning the national championship a few years ago, LSU has been a recruiting powerhouse. New defensive coordinator John Chavis will have plenty of speed to run his pressure style. And the offense brings a powerhouse back in Charles Scott running behind a stacked offensive line. Brandon LaFell leads a deep and fast group of recievers who Washington's secondary will have no chance to stop. Miles will want to get his Tigers plenty of momentum with the voters and the fans, so don't look for him to ease up on the throttle. Any way you it add it up, it's going to be a LSU blowout Victory.
